Tim Callahan

Tim Callahan is a 1977 graduate of Dubuque Senior High School.

During his playing days with the Rams, Tim competed in Football, Basketball and Baseball. Tim was part of several championship teams including the 1977 Men’s Basketball team that finished as state runner-up, and the 1977 Baseball team that finished third at the state tournament. Tim was selected to compete in the North-South all-star baseball game. Following graduation from Dubuque Senior, Tim attended Iowa Central Community College and the University of Northern Iowa. Tim has been an educator for over 38 years as a teacher and coach, most recently at Washington High School in Cedar Rapids. Tim has coached on many successful teams over the years and in 2005, Tim was selected as the Class 4A Assistant Football coach of the Year for the state of Iowa. Tim is now retired and resides once again in Dubuque with his wife Vicki.

Mike Cicciarelli

Mike Cicciarelli is a 1984 graduate of Dubuque Senior HS.

Mike was a standout wrestler for the Rams during his high school career and enrolled at Marquette University to continue his wrestling career. Unfortunately, an injury cut short Mike’s wrestling ambitions but led him to a path in the motorsports field. Mike transferred to Indiana State University and graduated with a Mechanical Technology degree in 1988 and continued with other Mechanical Engineering studies at the University of Iowa. Mike has worked in the Indy Car Sportsworld for the past 34 years, including work with racers such as Unser, Andretti, deFerran, Castroneves and Rahal to name a few, which resulted in 2-Indy 500 poles, 4-Indy 500 victories, and 3-Series Championships. Tim currently resides in Brownsburg, Indiana with his wife Ann and his sons Anthony and Nick.

Jordan Huff

Jordan Huff is a 2009 graduate of Dubuque Senior HS and a highly decorated swimmer for the Rams.

During his HS career, Jordan was a 7-time state champion, earning 3 state titles in both the 100y and 200y freestyle. Jordan also competed in Cross Country for the Rams and was the Homecoming King in 2008. Jordan went on to study and swim at the University of Iowa, earning 5-All American honors as a relay swimmer. Jordan competed in two Olympic trials 2008 (while still in HS) and 2012. Jordan is currently a special education teacher at Grinnell High School and coaches both men’s and women’s swimming as well as men’s tennis. Jordan resides in Grinnell with his wife Deidre and two sons Tryggve and Niyah.

Dale Launspach

Dale Launspach is a 1950 graduate of Dubuque Senior HS.

Dale was a stellar tennis player for the Rams under the direction of Coach Johnny Meyer (for whom our courts are named after) and was a 2-time State Runner-Up in doubles in 1949 and 1950 with Bob Timmerman. Dale was the 1st Rams tennis player to earn a scholarship in tennis to attend college and did so at the University of Dubuque. In 1952, Dale left the University of Dubuque to join the US Army and served in the Korean War. Upon his return to Dubuque, Dale and his brother-in-law, Dick Ludwig (and eventually their children) established Aladdin, Inc. a successful uniform and linen company with plants throughout Iowa and servicing several states in the Midwest. Dale also served his community as President of Dubuque Jaycees. Dale passed away in 2017, but had a wonderful life married to his wife Mary Kay for over 60 years and they raised 7 children, 6 of which are surviving today and reside in the Dubuque area.

Mike Schuster

Mike Schuster is a 1972 graduate of Dubuque Senior HS.

Mike played football for the Rams for 2-years and made his mark for coach Bill Jantz and went on to play football at Wayne State in Nebraska. At Wayne State, Michael was a 4-year letterman and 3-year defensive starter. Mike earned a teaching degree at Wayne State and coached for a few years and won a state title in his very first year at Wolbach HS. A few years later, Michael signed a free-agent contract with the Cleveland Browns but his NFL desires were cut short due to injury. Michael then began a long career outside of education in the meat processing industry. Michael currently resides in LaVista, Nebraska.

Terra Davids Strohmeyer

Terra Davids Strohmeyer is a 1994 graduate of Dubuque Senior HS.

During her high school days, Terra Davids competed in Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball, earning a total of 13 Varsity letters. Terra was 2nd team all-state in Volleyball her senior year and was a member of the 1994 Basketball team that finished as State Runner-Up. Terra went on to Simpson College and played volleyball all four years and was American Rivers Conference – All conference all four years. Terra graduated in 1998 with a double degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Terra has worked at Four Oaks, Juvenile Court services, and Iowa Health and Human Services. In addition to her “day job”, Terra has coached many youth teams (often with and for her own children). Terra is married to her husband Scott and has three children-Tricia, Jaxen and Jolee and three grandchildren-Raelyn, Bristol, and Layne.

Keith Weber

Keith Weber is a 1996 graduate of Dubuque Senior HS.

Keith was a 2-year letter winner in Football and a 4-year letter winner in Wrestling. Keith is one of the best wrestlers in Dubuque Senior history, earning a 103-17 career record with the Rams. He was a 3x-placewinner at the IHSAA state tournament, including a runner-up finish his senior year. Keith went on to study and wrestle at the University of Northern Iowa. A four-year letterwinner for the Panthers, Keith graduate with a Biology teaching degree in 2001. Keith began his teaching degree in Milwaukee-Wisconsin at Bradley Tech HS (4 years) before returning to Dubuque Senior where he has been for the past 20+ years. Keith has been an assistant Men’s Wrestling Coach, Softball coach and Women’s Cross Country coach. Keith was awarded the IATC Assistant Cross Country coach of the year for the state of Iowa in 2024. Keith is married to his wife Crista and has three children, Sam, Stella, and Lucy.
